It is with tears from my inner child that I cry for the passing of a dear friend, Nancy Phillips. In the early years of my career, she was one of my horse mom's, giving great advice and demonstrating the virtue of perfectionism. As I grew, I also began to appreciate her commitment to quality, rather than quantity. For more than 30 years, Nancy always gave me a smile and had a way of instilling confidence in me. Thank you for helping to make me who I am today, Nancy. I will forever cherish you.
